APS Symposium on the Digital Design of Drug Products

FULL REPORT AVAILABLE

A must attend event for scientists and leaders in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, this symposium brings together the concept of materials engineering with state of the art knowledge around modelling of materials and processes. The Digital Design Symposium will also provide information around initiatives in the pharmaceutical arena where data sharing is helping to produce better guidelines for processes, and a chance to learn about the recently started £24m ADDoPT (Advanced Digital Design of Pharmaceutical Therapeutics) project which is aimed to provide new tools to the industry in the area of materials manufacture and processing.

The meeting is organised by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in the shape of ADDoPT lead researcher Dr. Richard Storey, Principal Scientist, Physical Sciences at AstraZeneca R&D, and Dr. CaiYun Mai from the University of Leeds..The symposium is kindly supported by the British Association of Crystal Growth and CGOM (Crystal Growth of Organic Materials) whose joint conference CGOM12/BACG2016 is taking place in the days preceding this event
