The Macromolecular Materials Laboratory (MML) is an association of research groups within the Department of Materials Science at Cambridge University. Our research effort in ADDoPT is led by Dr. James Elliott, Reader in Macromolecular Materials, who works in the field of multiscale computational modelling of soft matter systems, including coarse-grained and molecular modelling of polymers, carbon nanotubes and their composites. His current research interests include granular materials where he directs projects on the compaction and flow of pharmaceutical powders for tablet manufacture, and binary mixtures of toners for electrophotographic applications.
